Images/My photo Andy has substantial practical experience of elicitation using the SHELF approach, mainly in the area of food safety. He has developed and delivered training courses on elicitation for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), in collaboration with Tony O'Hagan and others.

Andy has worked for many years on risk and uncertainty analysis in the areas of food and environmental safety. He has played a leading role in developing guidance on uncertainty analysis, including major contributions to the UK Treasury's 'Aqua' book, and to guidance documents on uncertainty and weight of evidence assessment for EFSA. He has also developed and delivered training courses on uncertainty analysis for EFSA and other organisations.
